Hi Henry. per talk , we want to receive some data for RFP Document. 8.1 OS/Android Platform. . Support 2 times of Android version up within 3 years after product launched and have MR updates with security patches by quarterly. [Jaon.park] for filling more detail for RFP document, please Not simply sentence , describe a process step. . Based on Android default launcher with customization requirements from Google ATV [Jason.park] when we receive some guide from SKB, Please describe our plan. 8.2 OTT . It needs SKB to kick off the project Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ first. [Jason.park] if SKB has a contract with Contents provider, please describe our plan ( certification Step and lead time...etc) 8.4. Voice recognition [Jason.park] as I understand, Fxn had experience in Smart3, please describe an technical explanation or step. 8.5. [Jason.park] if GOTA meet this requirement, please describe about GOTA. |

Hi, Henry I have a question about Wi-Fi module. 1) Why do you use BRCM Wi-Fi chip instead of RTL8822? I think BRCM IC's cost higher than Realtek IC. Best regards Lonnie Kim |

Hi Lonnie, You are right, we would like to propose Realtek solution in the beginning, but Realtek reply us that they can not guarantee us to supply RTL8822CS-VBS in 2021. The major reason for the Realtek is the shortage issue, because of capacity issue from foundry (UMC) and package test (ASE). And there is another reason is because we use Android 11 OS, and it requires BT privacy 1.2, therefore Realtek need to propose us another new PN called RTL8822CS-VBS (the current version is RTL8822CS-VS) to support this feature but the schedule of this part number for MP is on May, 2021. They think that by the end of 2021, they can only guarantee a small quantity for this part number, and this quantity has been pre-booked by their customers at the beginning of 2021. They don't have any capacity to support us with this new urgent RFQ. Reagrds, Sean |

Hi Emma, Updated the dongle ID with CMF FYI. Plz be noted this ID serves the purpose of checking the design concept only as we don't have time to do the stacking and place the IO correctly. The box typed ID is still under modification and expected to be provided before noon. To answer your question: The USB 2.0 A-type and ethernet port are located on the adapter.
